Scheduled to leave at 6AM on a friday morning but turned out to be 7:30 due to some deliverable and due to me on PTO on Friday and Monday. Needed to complete everything prior to leaving.
All's well when we finally settled and off to the airport.
At the airport, upon checking in, went for a quick breakfast to be ready for the day and coming from the shift the night before, needed to energize and recharge for the coming long day.
Leaving Manila is also a hard day since Spurs will also be playing against Heat for the NBA Finals Game 4. A must-watch game since Spurs is going for their third win and on to a comfortable lead. Good thing that at the airport, there are already televisions mounted on waiting lounges so we were able to watch the first and second quarters. It was a close fight for the first 2 quarters, and having that confidence that Spurs will win the game since they are also playing at Spurs Homecourt giving the SA an advantage over Miami.
But after landing at the Puerto Princesa Airport, Che-Anne immediately checked her phone and learned the sad news that Spurs lost the game. Well, it's still fine, Miami only leveled the game to 2 wins a piece. Life has to go on, come Monday, the Spurs will comeback and will post their third win and gaining the advantage.
Landing at the airport brought back some memories the first time I set my foot at this very same airport, only different companions. I was with Chery and Sheila, some of my best travel buddies who continues to tolerate my behavior, my "kaartehan" and everything. LOL!
Headed straight to Citadel where we will be staying for the next few days! Upon arrival at the house, kulitan with Ate Citadel; checked-in and had to make a decision whether to go straight to a City tour or take the day to rest. Settled with just stay at the resort and rest. Before dinner, since Robinson's Mall is just 2-blocks away (according to Ate Citadel), decided to go and spend some time at the mall and have dinner.

After dinner, went to the Supermarket to buy some goodies and headed home to rest for the day.
Tomorrow is another day...Our Underground RIVER Adventure.
